Each new member pays $35 and must attend the Spring Training Course. The course is repeated in the second year of membership along with paid annual dues.  

​

Weekday Course - 8 days total - Tuesday-Friday 9-11 AM

April 30-May 10, 2024

Make up days May 14 & 15

An Active member volunteers 40 hours or more per year and earns an annual pass to the Venetian Pool for their immediate family, provided the annual membership dues of $25 are paid.

​

An Associate member volunteers 20 to 39 hours per year and earns an annual pass to the Venetian Pool, provided the annual membership dues of $25 are paid.

​

Our swim program teaches water safety to children weekday mornings for 8 weeks (4 two-week sessions) during June, July and August. Adult classes are held three evenings a week during the summer and on Saturdays in the Spring and Fall.

​

While you are teaching classes in the morning, your children aged five and older may take the 8:30 am and 9:50 am lessons. They are cared for on the pool patio during the 9:10 lesson. Children under five are cared for on the pool patio while the member is teaching.

​

All members of the Venetian Aquatic Club are City of Coral Gables volunteers and must pass a background check.

 

In addition to the enjoyment of volunteering, we have an annual Summer Social, City of Coral Gables Appreciation Dinner, Installation Luncheon, and Holiday Party as ways to socialize with other club members.

​

The VAC MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION available in 2024 is required to take the Spring Training course.

​

The MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION FORM  is required to gain pool admission once sufficient volunteer hours have been completed and dues paid.
